Sunscreen mistakes that can cost you

Now, here’s where skin color comes into play with sunscreen… how often you need to reapply.

Sunscreen mistakes that can cost you

You were going to reapply, right? Good.

If you’re fair skinned apply every 2 hours, medium toned can reapply every 4 and darker skin tones can reapply every 6 or so hours.

No matter what skin tone you have, if you’re spending time in the water, you need to reapply more often.

You don’t want a sunburn to ruin this summer or cancer to ruin one down the line

And when the warm weather is over, don’t stop with the sunscreen.

You can reduce your daily SPF and reapplication schedule, but sunscreen is still critical.

The sun didn’t leave, so it can still harm you.
