If you’re not active enough, you will feel tired.
It seems counterintuitive because if you’re not using energy, you’d expect to have a lot of energy to spare, right?
But that’s not how it works.
Your body creates cortisol under any type of stress, including just getting to work in the morning.
This is part of our innate fight or flight biological evolution.
So if you have a stressful day and don’t burn off all of that extra cortisol in movement and exercise, it disrupts your sleep at night.
That’s going to take you right back to where you started out.
