My least favorite so-called healthy product in the world is antibacterial soap.
First off, all soap is antibacterial by nature of being soap.
Second, they’re ineffective and a waste of money.
A double-blind study showed that there was no difference at all in the rates that people got sick between using antibacterial soaps and using regular soap.
Plus, the ingredients that are being used so that they can label it antibacterial contribute to antibacterial resistance… leading to more infections that antibiotics cannot treat.
The best bet is to use plain soap and water, and then scrub while rubbing your hands together.
