If you’re using a loofah, you may want to make sure it’s the right sort.
All those nooks and crannies help the loofah to scrub, but it’s also the perfect place for bacteria, molds, and fungi to grow.
And then the next time you use that loofah… you get the idea.
It’s even worse if you have open wounds or even micro-abrasions.
To enjoy your loofah without the gross-out factor, make sure it’s made from natural fibers and replace it every month.
In between uses, wring it out completely and keep it in a cool, dry place.
