Researchers in a study done at the prestigious Maastricht University in the Netherlands found amazing benefits to eating nuts daily.

The study found that there was a 23% reduced chance of death in study participants.

Researchers studied 120,000 people aged 55 to 69 who were asked questions about how frequently they ate tree nuts, peanuts, and peanut butter.

They were also asked how much of these they consumed at a time.

Lead author Dr. Piet van den Brandt said that they found that those who age at least 10 grams of nuts or peanuts per day reaped the best benefits.

One thing the study found is that eating nuts helped to reduce the most serious effects of respiratory disease.

In fact, there was a reduction of roughly 45% in severe symptoms reported.
