Coffee drinkers were found to have a roughly 40% lower risk of liver cancer over non-coffee drinkers.
Researchers are not sure which of the more than 1,000 compounds in coffee is helping with this amazing task.
One theory is that the multitude of antioxidants mentioned earlier could be at least partially responsible for this great benefit.
While they’re not sure how exactly your coffee is helping you, they are hopeful that continued research will help them identify the compound and explore how it’s helping.
